Welcome the Game page. This is where you’ll find all the upcoming games and their availability. It’s pretty self explanatory. Choose the number of tickets you want per game and click the register button. You’ll be sent to our registration page, fill in your info., complete the form and you’re done. Please Note the Date/Day/Time you’re signing up for.
During the session you’ll be paying the organizer at the rink via cash or credit card. No checks/money orders . . . just cash/credit. Tickets will be $15 per game. You’ll need to bring a black and white jersey. Not yellow, gray, red, etc., black or white. If you don’t have a black or white jersey, just go out and get one. They’re like $12. Please see below for more specific details. If you’ve played with us before, everything else is the same.
Details (what you’ve signed up for): This is a friendly hockey game with guys that just want to get more ice time with some friends before they get back to the work week. No refs, no checking unless it’s between friends, and no slappers unless it’s just you and the goalie. The golden rule is there will be no toleration of total douche’ness. If it happens, you won’t be back. This includes 2 min. shifts! We’ll split up defense and offense and role both ends. Skate hard and get off. There are no NHL scouts watching us so that extra 30 seconds isn’t impressing anyone, especial since you’re just gliding down the ice anyway because you’re gasping for air. The bottom line is, no matter what shape you’re in, if you skate hard for 50-90 seconds you’ll probably have a heart attack anyway so just keep your shift short. BTW, this is a skate at your own risk event. There’s no insurance, no coverage of any kind. Your registration includes your agreement to not expect to or take any legal action against and party for any reason. If you want that, join a league.
Now for the real fun stuff. When you register for a free ticket you are responsible for that ticket for that game for that day. More importantly, by registering for the ticket you’ve entered into an agreement to pay $15 regardless if you show up or not. This is not negotiable, not transferable to another day, game, etc. You can get a replacement player for your spot (remember the golden rule above). Every ticket not filled is $15 out of the organizers pocket. This is the reason for the lack of negotiation. If you don’t like this, don’t register. For those that have played with us before this should be no big deal and you fully understand. For those have not played with us before . . . come on out and give it a shot. It’s a lot of fun! The music is on and it’s a great way to get some ice time and work on your game.
